Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to join the Omen Team at our Boston, MA office. In this role, you will be responsible for solving a wide variety of problems involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, perception, and more, while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs along the way.

Your will ensure that Anduril products seamlessly work together to achieve a variety of critical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background from industry or school in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• 6+ years of professional experience with C++ or Rust.
• Experience building software with significant data processing and analysis.
• Ability to navigate complex systems and established code bases.
• Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact.
• Willing to travel up to 25% for testing/demonstrations.
• Eligible to obtain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the mission autonomy systems and services deployed to customers.
• Write code to improve products and scale mission capability to more customers.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
• Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
• Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next steps.
• Partner with end-users to turn needs into features while balancing UX with engineering constraints.
• Travel up to 25% of the time for testing and demonstrations.
