Job summary

ASUS Robotics & AI Center in Boston seeks a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to build and maintain software powering UAVs and robotics platforms. You will contribute across the stack, collaborating with hardware teams and researchers to ship reliable software for real-world robotics applications.

You are a hands-on engineer with production-quality software experience, working in a multidisciplinary environment to design, test, deploy, and maintain complex systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of industry software engineering experience or equivalent.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience with UAVs, robotics platforms, or real-time/embedded systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software components for UAVs and robotics platforms.
• Contribute to the full software lifecycle including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Write clean, well-documented source code following modern practices.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Debug and resolve issues across software, hardware, and system boundaries.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, researchers, and other software engineers to integrate components.
• Continuously improve technical skills by learning from teammates and literature.
