Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Robotics Software Engineer for the TRS team in Atlanta, GA. You will develop core robotics libraries, design and build SIM tools for Altius, and optimize drone software performance. Collaboration with hardware and manufacturing teams will be essential as you push cutting-edge autonomy.

The role requires 7+ years of software development, strong C++/Rust skills, Linux experience, and readiness to relocate to Atlanta while pursuing active U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics, computer science, or related field is required.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ or Rust with Linux.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and optimization.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and analyze remotely deployed software systems.
• Willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA and obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core robotics libraries used across all Anduril robotics platforms.
• Lead development of major features, including Software-in-the-Loop simulators for Altius.
• Optimize performance of the Altius Drone product line.
• Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in deployed systems.
• Contribute to multi-agent coordination for UAVs.
• Engage in full software lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Stay current with emerging robotics technologies and trends.
