Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking an R&D Senior Software Engineer to drive architecture and designs for scalable software deployed on real robots. You will mentor peers, refine SOPs, and act as a force multiplier within a high-impact team.

Join a full-stack robotics team working across autonomy, AI, perception, and low-level hardware interfaces. The role emphasizes leadership, production-grade software, and collaboration with multiple business units during product releases.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing production software systems.
• Experience in Agile development and SOPs.
• Expert in Linux environment and Linux development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python with other technologies (Web, SQL)
• Experience with CI/CD and testing methodologies.
• Experience with containerization and deployment strategies.
• Version control with Git preferred.
• Experience with ROS.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ROS-based C++ and Python codebases on Linux.
• Create software designs, host design and code reviews, and engage SDLC processes.
• Own key development areas and act as a stakeholder in reviews.
