Bonsai Robotics, Inc. is seeking a visionary SVP of Engineering to lead the entire engineering organization, spanning software and hardware.

You will translate engineering vision into execution, build teams, and establish processes to scale our autonomy platform and vehicle programs. Reporting to the executive team, you will partner with product, operations, and go-to-market leaders to translate business priorities into technical roadmaps and delivered outcomes, while ensuring performance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15+ years of engineering experience, including leadership of software and hardware organizations, with success delivering complex robotics products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering strategy across software, hardware, autonomy, AI, applications, and platform development.
• Scale a multidisciplinary engineering organization with accountability and technical excellence.
• Own engineering execution, aligning architecture, roadmaps, staffing, budgets, and milestones with company priorities.
• Partner with product, operations, and leadership to translate business priorities into technical roadmaps.
• Drive integrated hardware and software systems for autonomous off-road platforms focusing on performance, safety, and manufacturability.
