JR Automation, A Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Senior Robotics Process Engineer for an onsite role in Lake Orion, MI. You will lead robotics projects, configure robot systems, and develop simulations to validate internal and external processes.

Join a team of engineers advancing state-of-the-art automation solutions across manufacturing and distribution. This role requires strong programs in robot applications, with travel 35-50% to customer sites and JR locations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering field
• 7-10 years of related or equivalent experience programming robots and launching robot systems
• 5+ years experience commissioning from scratch to customer standards
• Previous automotive industry experience preferred

This is an onsite role located in Lake Orion, MI.

As aSenior Robotics Process Engineer,you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry. This role will enable you to perfect your experience while integrating some of the most state-of-the-artrobotics & technology available. How You’ll Make an Impact

What You’ll Bring

• Experience with one or more robot applications: Material Handling, Dispense (Urethane, Sealer, Adhesive, Paint), Welding (Spot, Arc, Laser)
• Familiar with robot peripheral devices, tool center points, offline programming software, external axis, user frame, etc.
• Fanuc RoboGuide, Fanuc Vision, Fanuc 2D Vision, 3D Vision, 3DV
• Experience with robotic and third-party vision systems

Other Details

• Willingness to travel 35% - 50% to customer sites and other JR locations
