The role requires strong ROS 2 and MoveIt experience, deep robotics knowledge, and hands-on software engineering in C++/Python for production-grade systems.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in robotic motion planning algorithms (RRT/RRT*, PRM, TrajOpt).
• 2+ years of hands-on ROS 2 and MoveIt/MoveIt 2 in production systems.
• Strong understanding of robot kinematics (forward/inverse) for serial/parallel manipulators.
• Hands-on experience with kinematic solvers (KDL, TRAC-IK).
• Collision avoidance, voxel grids, OctoMap, and safety-aware planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop motion planning and trajectory optimization for a new robotic platform.
• Work with ROS 2, MoveIt configurations, URDF/SRDF models, and planning interfaces.
• Implement real-time performance, memory management and robust software design.
• Debug production hardware, validate motion planning under real-world constraints.
• Collaborate with perception, hardware, and firmware teams to drive technical direction.
