Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to design, integrate and launch robotic End Effectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanism design and integration, and the ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include authoring requirements, executing designs, building prototypes, and supporting releases to manufacturing and customer deployments, with a focus on safe, scalable automation at large scale.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years designing and integrating mechanisms in robotics.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, and debugging of subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Author requirements, design verification plans and test procedures.
• Execute product designs that meet requirements.
• Build and test mechanical subsystems and integrated systems.
• Support releases to manufacturing and deployments.
• Work to meet rapid schedules.
