Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting custom robotics hardware.
• Hands-on with proof-of-concept models and rapid prototyping.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems design and manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate concepts to leadership and document technical details.

Responsibilities

• Lead product designs from concept to production, including specs, prototyping, validation, and testing.
• Own the detailed design and performance of robotic systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality teams and vendors for smooth launches.
• Write functional specs, verification plans, and test procedures.
• Demonstrate best practices in mechanical engineering and cradle-to-grave ownership.
• Design holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems with evolving requirements.
