Plus One Robotics, based in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Sr. Controls Engineer to design and develop controls and electronics for InductOne systems. You will program PLCs and configure controls to meet performance and safety standards, working closely with mechanical and software teams.

This in-person role requires at least 5 years in controls or robotics, a Bachelor's in EE, and hands-on experience with Studio 5000, AutoCAD Electrical, and SolidWorks. Occasional travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years in controls, robotics, or automation.
Foundational knowledge of robotic systems and industrial automation.
Experience with PLCs and machine control I/O networks.
Experience with Studio 5000, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks and/or Copia.

Responsibilities

Design and develop robotic controls and electronics for InductOne systems.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley or similar).
Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to drive technical architecture.
Draft electrical schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs.
Support hardware releases within scope and timeline.
