You will drive design reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate across controls, hardware, and product management to deliver high-quality software and deployments. Limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Robotics, Computer Vision, Electrical or related field.
• 8+ years in Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, or Autonomous Systems with relevant expertise.
• Proven success in designing and sustaining high-reliability robotics software in production.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine automation and autonomy software for underground machines using perception, localization, mapping, and path planning.
• Lead software development lifecycle including requirements, design reviews, implementation, testing, and release.
• Design and unit test software adhering to architecture and standards.
• Integrate sensors via interfaces for LiDAR, cameras, radar, and IMUs.
• Act in peer reviews and support agile practices.
• Mentor entry to mid-level engineers in robotics software development.
• Follow Git and change-management practices; ensure robust version control.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
