Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking an Automation Eng Sr Technician to design, build and test robotic platforms from prototype to product commercialization. Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 45 pounds and potential for varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with the development and implementation of automation systems or components.
• Program, install, test, and maintain robots or automated components.
• Assist in commissioning and deployment of new automation installations, conduct field trials and prepare reports documenting actions or findings.
• Investigate and troubleshoot defects or bugs, perform repairs and provide preventative maintenance.
