Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a skilled professional to develop, design, build, and test robotic platforms from prototype to product. You will create integrated autonomous interfaces, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction across cross‑functional teams.

You will apply defined analytical methods and work with supervision to deliver automation solutions, perform commissioning, and document results while supporting ongoing maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical training degree and 2–5 years' experience OR equivalent.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with designing and implementing automation systems or components.
• Program, install, test, and maintain robots or automated components.
• Assist in commissioning and deploying new automation installations; conduct field trials and document findings.
• Investigate defects, perform repairs, and provide preventative maintenance.
