Job summary
Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Expert Automation & Robotics Programmer to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Everett, WA (also Renton or Auburn).
The role requires extensive experience with ABB RobotStudio, ABB, KUKA, and FANUC robots, robotic cell programming, automation control systems, and manufacturing process optimization. This position directly supports factory production by developing and improving automated manufacturing and NC processes, implementing computing
Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
- 9+ years of related experience or equivalent.
- Experience with high-speed machining in a production environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of robotic and automation technologies including ABB, KUKA, FANUC.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical requirements for numerical control, automation and robotics.
- Identify equipment and tech approaches to support production needs.
- Resolve manufacturing and production process concerns in machining and robotics.
- Support robotic cell programming and automation control systems.
- Manage implementation of new computing applications for design and inspection.
- Apply expertise to improve efficiency, safety, quality and performance.
- Work directly in the factory with mechanics, safety and production teams.
- Train and mentor team members on manufacturing and programming processes.
- Perform work under consultative direction with a high degree of independence.
