Job summary
Talos Automation in Warren, Michigan is seeking a KUKA Robotics Programmer to join our specialized engineering team. The role requires strong KUKA robotics background and experience with offline simulation, bring-up of hardware, and configuring external axis, safeties, and communications. ABB/FANUC experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in engineering or related field with 3–5+ years in robotics, preferably in automotive integration, and Body-in-White exposure is desirable though
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in an engineering related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience within robotics related work; automotive integration experience preferred.
- Experience with Body-in-White is highly desirable (not essential).
- Experience with full offline, simulation, bring up hardware, configure external axis, safeties and communications highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Run offline simulations and bring up hardware for KUKA robots.
- Configure external axis, safeties and communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation cells and manufacturing projects.
