Lockheed Martin is seeking a manufacturing automation specialist to design processes, production layouts and tooling using automation to maximize quality and efficiency. You will support the design, testing, fabrication and assembly of electromechanical systems including robots, conveyors and vision systems, and manage the lifecycle from design through maintenance and upgrades.

A BS degree and 3+ years in manufacturing are required; prior robotics and Lean Six Sigma experience preferred;

Formación

• BS 4 year technical degree
• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Develops practical solutions to a range of complex problems
• Works under general direction and participates in determining assignment objectives
• Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Prior robotic experience
• Lean Six Sigma experience

Responsabilidades

• Designs manufacturing processes and layouts using automation to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Supports design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of automated tools and electromechanical systems.
• Responsible for lifecycle of automated processes from design to maintenance and upgrades.
• Keeps informed on automation developments to drive continuous improvement.
