Moderna invites a Senior Engineer I – Robotics Applications to deploy and support robotics systems across a global manufacturing network, focusing on drug product operations. You’ll learn manufacturing processes, apply robotics tech, and help ensure reliability, safety, and data integrity in production.

Collaborating with controls, hardware, and site teams, you’ll drive system installation, testing, and continuous improvement, with travel up to 25% during critical phases.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of robotics, automation, or manufacturing systems experience.
• Experience with industrial robots (Staubli, Fanuc, ABB, etc.).
• Exposure to GMP manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across controls, hardware, and digital teams.
• Strong hands-on technical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within robotics and automation disciplines.
• Technical Project Management experience a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support installation, configuration, and commissioning of robotics systems.
• Assist in robot programming, vision system setup, and workflow configuration.
• Execute FAT, SAT, and commissioning protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment and operations.
• Support validation documentation and testing activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams during system implementation.
• Assist in continuous improvement and optimization of robotics processes.
• Support integration of robotics systems with existing equipment and workflows.
• Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and data integrity standards.
