Job summary

Cosma International in Michigan is seeking a Robotic Lead to drive the setup, programming, and optimization of GM-configured robots across single to multi-cell configurations. You will lead a small team, oversee troubleshooting, and ensure alignment with GM standards while promoting cross-department collaboration.

The role requires extensive Fanuc experience, DCS/Roboguide familiarity, and a strong Mechatronics background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years hands-on robot programming experience.
• Able to lead a small team of robotic programmers.
• Experience with Fanuc DCS and Roboguide is preferred.
• Degree/diploma in Mechatronics or Robotics Automation.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and install GM-configured robots from a single cell to multiple robot cells.
• Program robot paths and implement offline programming.
• Train and lead other robot technicians; coordinate the team.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Coordinate with supervisors and departments to ensure quality across projects.
