On-site leadership and a proven track record on multi-million dollar roadways are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of roadway superintendent or foreperson leadership of heavy equipment crews.
• 10+ years of roadway/highway construction experience.
• Experience with roadway/earthwork and widening type projects.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, interpret, and enforce safety policies and practices.
• Read and understand plans, specifications and local building codes.
• Schedule and document all inspections, quality testing and compliance requirements.
• Complete daily reports, safety reports, and weekly cost worksheets.
• Generate two-week construction schedules and monitor progress.
• Schedule and order materials, inspections and manpower to meet schedules.
• Inspect work in progress to ensure workmanship and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and crews to prevent delays.
• Track equipment usage and manage rentals on site.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and document outcomes.
