Job summary

HNTB in Florida seeks a Roadway Section Manager to lead the design, development and delivery of roadway projects, overseeing scope, budget and quality control to ensure client satisfaction. You will mentor staff, coordinate priorities across sections, and support SSA/SCA project pursuits while advancing HNTB’s strategic goals and FDOT-like workflows in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include staffing, performance reviews, and developing proposals with marketing resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, monitors and manages the section's operating budget in support of the group or office operating budget and forecast updates.
• Manages the discipline-specific engineering section, staff assignments, development, mentoring and training, and collaborates with other sections.
• Supports SSA and SCA processes on project pursuits and contracts.
• Leads project delivery processes including Work Planning and Monthly Project Reviews to ensure quality work and client satisfaction.
• Participates in hiring/resume screening/interviews and staff development.
