Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a Roadway Section Manager in South Florida to lead project teams delivering roadway programs on time and within budget. The role serves as the primary client liaison, coordinating section scope, schedule, and quality while mentoring staff and guiding business development efforts.

The incumbent will oversee budget forecasting, staff allocation, and cross‑section collaboration with other departments, ensuring client satisfaction and project success across FDOT-like programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams and complex project portfolios.
• Proven experience delivering FDOT or similar public agency projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the section's operating budget and forecast updates.
• Leads staff development, mentoring and training needs.
• Coordinates section activities, establishes priorities, and assigns staff to projects.
• Represents the section in client discussions and marketing activities.
• Manages project scope, schedule, budget and quality across multiple roadway projects.
• Directs 5–10+ staff and ensures staff performance reviews and succession planning.
