Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) is seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer / Project Manager to join our Tampa, Florida team. You will lead roadway design and delivery for FDOT and local government projects across Florida, guiding assignments from concept through PS&E and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a P.E. in Florida, 10+ years of roadway design experience, and strong leadership with a focus on quality and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive roadway/highway design experience, including PS&E packages.
• FDOT roadway design experience with FDOT standards, procedures, criteria, specs, and plans requirements.
• Experience with roadway geometric design, alignments, intersections, signing, drainage coordination, and related disciplines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer; familiarity with FDOT CAD standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and Roadway Design Lead for local agency transportation projects and FDOT.
• Manage roadway design from initial concept through final PS&E delivery.
• Lead development of roadway plans, specs, quantities, cost estimates, and supporting design documents.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, and client expectations.
• Coordinate roadway design with drainage, structures, traffic, utilities, and environment teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
