STV Incorporated, Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior Engineer/ Roadway Engineer to lead high-profile transportation projects. You will guide planning, design, PS&E, and construction support while mentoring staff and building client relationships.
The role offers growth into leadership positions and opportunities to shape STV's Texas roadway practice within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license needed.
- 7+ years of roadway/transportation/civil engineering experience.
- Strong problem-solving and practical design skills.
- Experience with roadway design tools listed under qualifications.
Mansioni
- Lead high-impact roadway design projects from planning through PS&E.
- Develop highway geometrics, drainage and signing plans, and utility coordination.
- Ensure designs meet standards, quality, and constructibility.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to keep projects on schedule and budget.
- Mentor junior staff and grow leadership capabilities.
- Prepare quantities, estimates, specs, and design documentation.
- Support construction phase activities and answer contractor questions.
- Progress from task leadership to project coordination and BD support.
