Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Senior Roadway Engineer to join our Transportation team in Orlando, FL. You will lead roadway design for infrastructure projects including intersections and expressways, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and a FL PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months; proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and FDOT design standards is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in roadway design.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Florida Professional Engineer license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional engineering lead for roadway design on projects of varying size.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project plans, schedules, and production.
• Interact with client technical staff, present results, and manage expectations.
• Perform QA/QC reviewer, technical advisor, design leader and/or project manager roles.
• Prepare written reports, calculations and design documentation.
