Quigg Engineering Inc. (QEI) is seeking a dynamic Civil Engineer to join our team full-time.

QEI is a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm servicing private and public sectors in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Idaho. Qualifications

• B.S. in civil engineering required.
• Professional licensure in Illinois required.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience, preferably with transportation projects.
• Ability to lead a project and direct junior staff.
• Ability to act as lead roadway designer on projects with multiple disciplines.
• Experience with Illinois DOT, Illinois Tollway, or local agencies preferred.
• Proficiency in Microstation/Geopak SS10/Connect/ORD preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Traffic Signal Design experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Planning and design of roadway and related projects.
• Preparation of Phase I roadway studies.
• Preparation of Phase II roadway plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Preparation of stormwater drainage studies and final drainage plans.
• Interact with junior staff.
• Interact with public and private clients.
