Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Senior Roadway Design Engineer to join the Southeast Mobility team in the Atlanta, GA area. You will work on infrastructure projects for roadways, including interchanges, urban arterials, and expressways, addressing both technical and client-facing aspects.

The role requires in-depth roadway design experience, mentoring of junior staff, and collaboration with GDOT and other State DOTs. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary efforts and lead project plans, with Arcadis

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Georgia PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional engineering discipline lead for roadway design projects of varying size and scope.
• Mentor and provide direction to junior staff and design/drafters; develop project plans and schedules; manage production and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Interact with client technical staff, lead meetings or present to manage client expectations.
• Perform roles on multi-disciplined projects including QA/QC reviewer, technical advisor, design leader or client facing project manager.
• Prepare written reports, calculations and other design documentation.
