Job summary

RK&K is seeking Senior Roadway and Bridge Inspectors to support CEI services in the Knoxville/Tri-Cities region. The role expects 10+ years of DOT/CEI experience and proven ability to supervise inspection teams on transportation projects.

The Senior Inspectors will manage field operations, QA sampling, and reporting while coordinating with clients and contractors, in a dynamic outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of Construction Engineering Inspection experience.
• Trustworthy and responsible.
• Strong math skills are essential.
• Ability to read and follow test specifications.
• Excellent driving record.
• Experience supervising teams of Inspectors or site management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee roadway and bridge projects within the region.
• Supervise contractor's quality control operations.
• Perform QA sampling and testing.
• Complete Daily Sampling and Testing Reports.
• Input data in SiteManager/LIMS.
• Maintain daily communication with clients, contractors, and field personnel.
