Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• P.E. licensure in Idaho and Washington within six months of hire.
• 15+ years transportation engineering, with 3+ years as PM or design lead.
• Experience managing transportation projects for public agencies.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager for roadway, bridge, freeway, highway corridor, interchange, and other transportation projects.
• Lead projects from contract development through final delivery and construction support.
• Develop and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing, work plans, and risk-management strategies.
• Monitor project financial performance, including invoicing, budgeting and profitability.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and subconsultants to deliver high-quality work.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, agency partners, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Mentor staff and help position DEA for future work.
