  • Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements, applicable design standards, client expectations, and DEA's quality-management requirements.
  • Lead or support quality-control reviews and confirm that comments are resolved before deliverables are submitted.
  • Negotiate contracts, amendments, and changes in scope in coordination with DEA leadership and contracting personnel.
  • Lead and support business-development activities, including client engagement, capture planning, proposal development, interviews, and contract negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with state and local transportation agencies throughout Idaho and Eastern Washington.
  • Identify upcoming opportunities and help develop pursuit strategies that align with DEA's regional and firmwide goals.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to project managers, engineers, and technical staff.
  • Help attract, develop, and retain talented professionals while supporting employee performance and career growth.
  • Collaborate with group and practice leaders to achieve business objectives related to sales, backlog, utilization, profitability, project delivery, and client satisfaction.
  • Support workload planning and coordinate staffing needs across offices, disciplines, and business units.
  • Consistently apply DEA's project-management tools, contracting procedures, quality requirements, and other firmwide processes.
