Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check and obtain federally mandated security clearances where required.
• Subject to pre-employment, random drug testing and, for promotions, assignment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor tasks in road construction, improvement, and maintenance; operate dump trucks, loaders, and graders.
• Procure and maintain parts inventory; assist with radio communications and keep the shop building in good condition.
• Monitor signing, install highway signs, and perform related sign installation duties.
• Maintain tools and equipment; safeguard machinery valued up to $450,000 and sign materials valued at $100,000.
