Job summary

Vitol Biomethane, LLC (VBM) seeks a Senior RNG Technician for Landfill Gas to Energy projects nationwide. You will operate and maintain GCCS, plant, and pipeline equipment, maximize methane recovery, and comply with safety and environmental standards.

1–3 years in industrial operations preferred; a valid license is required. Based at designated facilities with 24/7 shift availability; collaborate with the Plant Manager and technicians, support field optimization, and maintain thorough

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in industrial operations, landfill gas, or gas processing preferred.
• Basic mechanical and technical proficiency.
• Ability to follow SOPs and document data accurately.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor landfill gas system equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain GCCS, plant, and pipeline equipment across sites.
• Perform field rounds, inspections, and balancing to maximize methane recovery.
• Assist with startup/shutdown and normal operating adjustments; document data.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager and fellow technicians to ensure 24/7 operations.
