Job summary

Green Acres Nursing and Rehab is seeking an RN Unit Manager to provide direct leadership and clinical supervision for the unit. The role ensures safe, compassionate care, monitors resident conditions, and coordinates with physicians and families to maintain high-quality nursing services.

The position requires an active RN license, long-term care experience, and prior supervisory responsibilities. Strong teamwork and adherence to federal/state regulations are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification as required by the facility.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and clinical supervision to nursing staff assigned to the unit.
• Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and appropriate nursing care.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure changes in condition are promptly identified, documented, and reported.
• Review and follow up on physician orders, treatments, medications, care plans, and resident needs.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of nursing documentation and clinical records.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and updating of resident care plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, performance, and compliance with scheduled assignments.
