Job summary

Peterson Park Health Care Center is seeking an RN Nurse Supervisor to lead the assigned unit, supervise the clinical staff, and ensure the highest standard of patient care. You will provide clinical guidance, uphold infection prevention practices, and help maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet residents' needs.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and has 2+ years of RN experience. Prior management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered State of Illinois RN license.
• CPR Certification.
• Two (2) years of RN experience.
• Experience managing a nursing department or unit is preferable with five (5) years RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the assigned unit and supervise all clinical staff.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff and foster a positive, inclusive culture.
• Ensure infection prevention practices are maintained and appropriate staffing for residents’ needs.
