Job summary

Caring INC in Millville, NJ seeks an RN to oversee nursing care direction, quality, and resident independence within the Assisted Living program. The role requires strong supervision of LPNs, CNAs, and Medication Techs, and close collaboration with the Administrator to ensure orders are followed and care plans are current.

You must hold a NJ RN license, have 2+ years of supervision experience in a facility, and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Current RN license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• At least 2 years of full-time nursing supervision/administration in a health care facility.
• Education and/or experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
• Participates annually in continuing nursing education and maintains CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Has knowledge of the Assisted Living Program rules and regulations.
• Develops and maintains written objectives, standards, procedures and organizational plan for nursing services.
• Provides direct supervision to LPNs, Medication Techs, and CNAs.
• Oversees monthly medication recaps, physician order transcriptions, and follow-up.
• Assesses residents at admission and develops health care plans within listed timeframes.
• Documents in progress notes regarding residents' response to nursing care and plans of care.
• Ensures discharge summaries include the nursing portion and are filed in the medical record.
• Educates and in-services Medication Techs on medications and procedures.
