Job summary

UNC Health Nash Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the NGH Recovery Room team in Nash County, NC. This full-time, on-site role focuses on delivering competent clinical nursing care in accordance with professional standards and the nursing process.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse coordinates care, participates in interdisciplinary collaboration, and supports patient education, discharge planning, and safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
• Educate patients and assess readiness to learn.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to evaluate and plan care.
• Plan and prioritize care for patients with complex needs.
