Parkland Community Health Plan, located at the Main Hospital Building, 3rd Floor, Dallas, is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse for OR Prep/Recovery. The role supports patient care delivery, coordination with the health care team, and transition through the surgical pathway with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Day shift, 8-hour hours, full-time employment. Requires Texas RN license, BLS, and ALS/ACLS certification; two years of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Current RN license in Texas (or Compact).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ALS or ACLS certification on hire.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care per individualized plan of care and hospital standards.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Serves as Charge Nurse on rotation.
• Precepts or trains newer nursing staff.
• Educates patients and families as needed.
