Job summary

Qualifications

• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
• RN licensure in Texas (TX BON) and PSV Compact licensure; obtain permanent TX license within 60 days if adapting residency.
• BLS certification (AHA) required; Chemotherapy credential within 90 days for incumbents.
• Magnet ANCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population with comprehensive assessments.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and interprofessional teams to plan and coordinate care.
• Lead unit activities, serve as charge nurse or preceptor, and contribute to governance initiatives.
