Sharp HealthCare in California is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care with variable shift times. On-call responsibilities are required and weekend work is not mandated, under a collective bargaining agreement that sets the hourly pay range.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient education, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with the care team to deliver safe, quality care across patient populations.

Formación

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 2 Years clinical experience.
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS) - REQUIRED
• ACLS Certification - REQUIRED

Responsabilidades

• To provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Delegates/assigns and communicates expectations for care delivery processes to each member of the team.
• Documents per department/entity guidelines of care and policies and procedures.
• Establishes a therapeutic relationship with patient and family, and advocates for patient needs.
• Helps coworkers improve performance and offers assistance and support to coworkers.
• Provides age appropriate patient education and coordinates transfer/discharge planning.
• Uses systematic planning and communicates with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Utilizes the nursing process with a critical thinking approach to patient care and outcomes.
