Job summary

IPSecure, Inc. is seeking an Information Assurance Engineer III at JBSA Lackland in San Antonio, TX. The role supports cybersecurity governance, RMF, and continuous monitoring across enterprise, cloud, and mission networks, ensuring compliance and evidence-driven remediation.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, IT, CS, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Certifications: CISSP-ISSMP, GSLC, CCSP or CISSP.
• Extensive RMF, governance, and information system security experience.
• Experience in DoD/Federal regulated environments.
• Experience preparing and maintaining system authorization packages and cybersecurity evidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF activities across the system authorization lifecycle.
• Maintain continuous authorization readiness across certification/ accreditation packages.
• Develop, review, and maintain cybersecurity authorization documentation and artifacts.
• Coordinate RMF with ISSOs, ISSMs, system owners, engineers, and government officials.
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Support authorization reviews, monitoring, and compliance assessments.
• Ensure documentation reflects system architecture, environment, and security controls.
• Monitor remediation progress and closure of deficiencies.
• Maintain cybersecurity posture information for government reviews and leadership reporting.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation with IT and security teams.
