Job summary

Cybersecurity Jobs is seeking a senior cybersecurity manager to lead the CNMF RMF mission at Fort Meade, MD. The role supervises the J65 Cybersecurity Branch Chief, oversees risk-based authorization and cloud security, and guides security engineering across the system lifecycle.

The position requires TOP SECRET SCI clearance, US citizenship, and NSA/DoD-compliant certifications, with probationary periods and potential travel as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET SCI clearance.
• Requires U.S. citizenship per requirements.
• Background investigation and suitability/fitness determination may be required.
• Three-year trial/probationary period may be required.
• One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
• Due to NSA requirements, knowledges of security protocols and polygraph may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as J65 Cybersecurity Branch Chief and senior manager for RMF.
• Manage authorization, validation, and decisions for IT systems, networks, and cloud environments.
• Develop risk-acceptance recommendations using NIST guidance.
• Oversee cybersecurity configuration across CNMF environments including AWS regions.
• Integrate security engineering into the system lifecycle.
• Coordinate design and implementation of zero-trust architectures and secure APIs.
• Plan work priorities for subordinate personnel.
