KBR Careers seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor to support a government customer in the Northern Virginia area. The role advises on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk to align with mission requirements. A Top Secret/SI clearance is required, with strong leadership and policy development skills.

The position emphasizes RMF/ATO, zero trust, and DevSecOps integration, delivering metrics to leadership and enabling secure, resilient operations.

Qualifications

• Requires CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
• Experience advising executive leadership on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk for complex enterprises.
• Experience with security frameworks and concepts (e.g., RMF, NIST CSF/800-53, zero trust, IAM).
• Experience improving ATO processes and promoting reciprocity.
• Experience developing security policies/standards and implementation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Supporting RMF and ATO activities, reciprocity initiatives, and continuous monitoring.
• Guidance on zero trust planning, identity, segmentation, encryption, and secure access.
• Advise on incident response processes, vulnerability management, and SOC improvements.
• Integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines and acquisition planning.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and briefs for executive reporting.
