PGIM, the global asset management business of Prudential Financial, invites applications for a research position within the Securitized Products group. You will analyze RMBS, mortgage whole loans, and private ABF investments, supporting portfolio management and investment decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and external market participants, with a focus on analytics, due diligence, and market insight. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (field relevant to fixed income or finance).
• 4–7 years of experience in fixed income, securitized products, mortgage finance, or related research.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Experience with Intex and structured finance modeling preferred.
• Exposure to RMBS collateral, securitization structures, cash flow analysis, and RMBS drivers preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience handling large datasets required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RMBS transactions across new issue and secondary markets, including collateral features and underwriting trends.
• Develop internal credit views and relative value assessments for RMBS sectors.
• Build scenario analyses to assess bond performance under various collateral/housing scenarios.
• Monitor portfolios and market developments; identify changes affecting risk/return.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and other teams to formulate RMBS investment recommendations.
• Review transaction documents, reports, and legal structures for protections and warranties.
• Engage with issuers, dealers, servicers and market participants to support due diligence.
• Work with modeling/tech teams to enhance analytics infrastructure.
• Prepare internal presentations and client materials on RMBS market themes.
