Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead regulatory compliance engagements for community banks and other financial institutions in our Middle Market Risk & Regulatory practice.

You will direct complex reviews, risk assessments, and program improvements, act as the primary client contact, and work with executives and regulators to ensure top-tier risk management. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in banking regulatory compliance, risk management, or related consulting.
• Experience leading regulatory programs, audits, or risk initiatives.
• Willingness to travel based on client and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex regulatory compliance engagements for financial institutions.
• Serve as primary relationship contact for assigned clients.
• Establish engagement scope, workplans, budgets, timelines, and staffing.
• Monitor engagement economics, delivery quality, and client satisfaction.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to executives and regulators.
• Lead risk assessments, gap analyses, and program evaluations.
• Develop methodologies, tools, and technical guidance.
