Job summary

FINRA is seeking a mid-level Risk Monitor to conduct risk monitoring and ongoing risk assessments for FINRA members, reporting to a Risk Monitoring Director. The role involves collaboration across departments, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to special projects and technology initiatives.

The position supports a hybrid work environment with in-person and virtual collaboration, emphasizing investor protection and market integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field(s) or equivalent experience.
• Graduate degree (MBA or JD) and/or relevant industry certifications preferred.
• Experience with regulatory developments and applying them to complex business models.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk monitoring for FINRA member firms, including elevated risk firms.
• Collaborate with internal departments to analyze regulatory intelligence and make recommendations.
• Mentor and coach entry-level risk monitoring staff.
• Lead or participate in special projects and technology initiatives.
• Work in a hybrid environment and partner with multiple locations.
