Job summary

Dycom is seeking a Senior Manager Risk Management to oversee the company's risk program, including insurance portfolios, contract review, and regulatory compliance. This role partners with Legal, Operations, Finance, and risk leaders to align insurance strategy with business objectives.

You will build broker relationships, manage RFPs, and supervise data and audit activities, while driving process improvements and ensuring data integrity across the program.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance markets, policy forms, and coverage structures.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret actuarial data, loss runs, and financial reports related to insurance program performance.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with the patience and persistence to drive improvements across a large, decentralized organization.
• Ability to communicate complex insurance concepts in plain terms to business leaders, helping them understand how decisions affect their operations and financial results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual strategy, renewal process for all insurance portfolios.
• Assist with risk management evaluations and integration for M&A targets.
• Build and manage relationships with brokers and carriers; conduct performance reviews and manage RFPs.
• Consult with Legal on insurance provisions across contracts and leases to align obligations with coverage.
• Manage subcontractor insurance compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the certificate of insurance issuance process.
• Manage data exposure collection to ensure data integrity and renewal outcomes.
• Audit policy documentation and coordinate with brokers and insurers to resolve discrepancies.
• Partner with Finance to manage the team’s budget, retro premium adjustments, and audit premiums.
• Drive continuous process improvements, including automating COI tracking and subcontractor workflows.
