Job summary

Hydrostor seeks a Risk Manager to lead the risk management and governance for the Willow Rock Energy Storage Center project across Denver and Houston, with ~30–40% travel within North America. The role collaborates with EPC/EPCM teams to ensure robust risk processes, reporting, and decision-ready risk insights for executives.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in project risk management on large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, strong governance skills, and proven ability to influence

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in project risk management within major projects.
• Renewable energy, transmission, mining, oil & gas, infrastructure or heavy industrial construction experience.
• Experience in owner/operator, EPC and/or EPCM project delivery environments.
• Experience implementing risk management frameworks on projects above $500M in value.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of risk management processes for large projects.
• Coordinate risk governance including risk registers and dashboard reporting.
• Conduct risk workshops and advise executives on risk mitigation.
• Communicate risk status to senior management and stakeholders.
