Job summary

Comprehensive Community Health Centers in Glendale, CA is seeking a Risk Management Specialist II to advance clinical and operational risk, patient safety, compliance, and emergency readiness. You will conduct complex investigations, analyze data, develop reports, and support regulatory readiness while mentoring staff.

This role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and at least three years of healthcare operations or risk management experience; strong analytical, communication, and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, quality or patient safety, emergency management, business, organizational psychology, organizational development, data analytics, or a closely related field is required.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations, risk management, compliance, quality improvement, patient safety, emergency management, workplace safety, investigations, data analysis, organizational development, organizational effectiveness, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated experience with data analysis and professional reporting, as well as experience with project coordination, corrective‑action management, and/or quality or process‑improvement activities requiring analytical and critical‑thinking skills, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess incidents, complaints, patient safety, workplace safety, emergencies, and operational concerns; gather and evaluate information; determine next steps and escalate high‑risk matters.
• Monitor risk management communications; assess and respond to correspondence; coordinate follow‑up through resolution.
• Independently conduct complex investigations using root cause analysis when appropriate; identify contributing factors and gaps; develop findings and recommendations.
