Job summary

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is seeking a senior-level risk management professional to lead agency-wide programs that safeguard assets, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will oversee insurance, medical compliance, disability programs, and claims management for the Risk Management Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Six (6) years progressively responsible experience in finance, risk management, or another related field, including liability claims management and workers compensation.
• Experience leading people and driving policy changes.
• Knowledge of regulations affecting agency risk management programs.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees risk management programs including insurance, medical compliance, disability, and claims.
• Analyzes operations and procurements to identify risks to employees and assets.
• Oversees disability and family leave program administration; coordinates with EEO on ADAAA and LTD.
• Determines funding levels and budgeting requirements for the Risk Management Division.
• Interviews and develops personnel in accordance with policy and EEO/AA goals.
