Job summary

Charter Manufacturing seeks a risk and internal controls professional to strengthen our control environment across multiple business units in Mequon, WI. You will champion key controls, partner with finance and operations, and drive improvements in governance, reporting, and risk mitigation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 4–6 years of experience, with strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4–6 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Ability to adapt to change and work independently.
• Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Key Controls program across Finance and business teams.
• Improve standardization, transparency, and executive reporting of controls.
• Develop practical recommendations to enhance internal control design.
• Administer Oracle access and resolve SOD conflicts.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to reduce access conflicts and implement compensating controls.
• Support internal audit plans and project work.
