Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to support our 8 markets with insurance and risk management for projects. You will review contracts, assess insurance requirements, and implement insurance strategies to protect people and assets.

The role involves working with brokers and carriers across multiple markets and travel less than 10% of the time. You will help determine, assess, and manage insurance and bond requirements to support leadership in pursuit and execution, while collaborating

Qualifications

10 years of multi-line property casualty experience.
Experience with contract reviews, insurance bid reviews, and pricing.
Experience in selection and negotiation with brokers and carriers.
Engineering and construction experience preferred.
Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide project insurance contract reviews and risk management support for pursuits.
Assist with project contract review and negotiations related to insurance.
Support broker and carrier selection and negotiations.
Manage builders' risk, property and equipment claims investigations and settlements.
Gather underwriting information and prepare renewal specifications.
Obtain project-specific insurance as required by contract.
Manage insurance policy extensions and track program data.
Review and file insurance policy changes and assist strategic initiatives.
Handle special projects as assigned.
